Postage and packing costs - UK only
This page is for information for the Royal Mail Fully Tracked Option.
We have been given the option to move to fully tracked parcels on our Royal Mail account. We are seriously thinking about it as there have been several parcels lately that have taken over 2 weeks to arrive and we have no way of tracking where it is for customers.
Unfortunately there is a problem, the Large Letters are a flat rate for 0 to 1kg and that price is a lot more than we currently pay for 0 to 100g, which a lot of our Large Letters are. We have always had a reduced P+P rate for 1 or 2 patterns (see current P+P prices), but we would not be able to keep that low P+P if we went down the fully tracked route.
The prices below are for the Fully Tracked option.

All orders for delivery within the UK will incur a maximum postage and packing (P+P) cost of £3.80. UK Orders over £40 will have FREE P+P.If you only order Pattern Leaflets, Pattern Books, Loopas or certain accessories, the P+P cost is reduced for a certain number of each - the Shopping Basket will update automatically but the following can be used as a guide. If your order goes above the £40 limit the UK P+P will be FREE

The following accessories are included in the reduced UK P+P £2.65 price with the above limits.
Circular Knitting Needles (up to 10mm), Crochet Hooks (up to 10mm), Macramé Pins, Wool Needles, Stitch Holders, Pin Gauge, Standard Fiberglass Tape Measures, Seam Rippers, Safety Pins, Needle Threader Packs, Made By Labels, Cable Needles, DPN, Childrens 18cm Needles, Knit/Crochet Card (including free version).
All other accessories and Knitting Needles are charged at the standard £3.80 UK P+P price. If your order goes above the £40 limit the UK P+P will be FREE.
If you put a mixture of Type A (Patterns) and Type B (Books, Loopas and some Accessories) in the Shopping Basket the P+P prices will update automatically. The following chart shows the exact point of change. If your order goes above the £40 limit the UK P+P will be FREE.
